Build to Print and Engineered Solutions
Amphenol CTI works closely with our customers to provide the Interconnect solutions required through a combination of build to print cable and harness products when the customer has a completed design, to a collaborative engineering approach for developing a product that meets and solves the customers interconnect challenges.
These products can range from power, communication or ethernet cables to wire harnesses ranging from 2 to 800+ circuits. In some cases, electromechanical sub-assemblies or box builds are developed when the wire and interconnect make up a considerable portion of the final product. In these cases, we can often provide an optimized solution with improved cable management and reduced content as a fully tested subassembly.
Wire Harnesses
Amphenol CTI offers a broad range of capabilities and scale providing proto builds to high volume production on harnesses ranging from 2 circuits to 600+ circuits. We leverage a robust supply chain enabling the use of not only Amphenol interconnect but interconnect from all major connector suppliers.
We offer solutions for applications ranging from controlled environments to rugged, harsh environment applications which leverage different capabilities, standards, and testing.
Our extensive experience enables us to make application recommendations related to bundling, routing, and break outs, resulting in quality products that are easier to integrate into our customers final products.
Amphenol CTI supplies wire harnesses into a wide range of industries including consumer, medical, automotive, high tech and Industrial. Industrial markets are a strength with a focus on heavy equipment and transportation.
Cable Assemblies
At Amphenol CTI we provide various types of cable assemblies into a broad range of markets. Cable assembly applications include power, control, and communications. We offer industry standard cables, as well as custom and build to print cable assemblies to address your specific needs. Although we leverage the benefits of Amphenol interconnect, we provide assemblies using interconnect from all major connector suppliers.
Overmold assembles provide solutions for customers with custom back shell or environmental requirements. Applications for mid to high volume production through both soft tooled and hard tooled approaches help manage NRE start-up costs.
Across our network of site locations, we deliver prototype and production quantities to meet both your ramp up requirements as well as your sustained production needs.
Electro-Mechanical Assemblies
At Amphenol CTI we partner with customers to provide value add solutions through electromechanical subassemblies. These assemblies can range from adding mounting brackets to complete box builds. The value add we offer is through our knowledge of cable management and cable routing combined with our sourcing leverage where interconnect, cables and wire harnesses represent a considerable portion of the BOM.
Our team can produce fully tested sub-assemblies that can be received directly onto our customers production line reducing the complexity of material management and production for our customers. These engineered sub-assemblies can often result in improved production throughput and quality for our customer.
Applications examples range from industrial control/monitoring, heavy equipment, rail (rolling stock and track side control), marine, as well as on-road and off-road vehicles.
