Amphenol CTI has a rich history in the cable and wire harness business that offers our customers best in class capability and localized support.
Amphenol CTI started in 1947 as a Canadian company and over the years we grew our capabilities and footprint through several smaller acquisitions. We acquired companies like Genasco (Mexico), ED Products (Ontario Canada) and Flexus (Ontario Canada) into our CTI family as well as expanding our production in China creating a global company offering Tier 1 customers global optimized support and local companies the localized collaborative support they required.
In 2018 CTI was acquired by Amphenol immediately expanding the marketing opportunities, supplier strength and internal resources to further improve the value we deliver to an expanded customer base.
As we expanded our strength in the transportation markets in 2021, we developed a new site in New York state to support the buy America requirements of the US infrastructure expansion in passenger rail as well as the on road and off-road vehicle manufacturers.
As part of the Amphenol family, we now deliver any value-added interconnect solution from a global manufacturing footprint through our expanded divisional capabilities or by drawing on the complementary solutions through one of our sister divisions.
